Idiom: make do (with)

Dziś bardzo przydatny, moim zdaniem idiom (tylko takie będą się tutaj pojawiać):

make do (with): zadowalać się czymś (z powodu braku czegoś, lub z powodu niższej jakości czegoś)

Przykłady:

We didn't have a telly, so we made do with the radio.

I made do with what I had - my old digital camera — and the results were fine...

She had to make do with whatever was within the household to do a normal day activity.

He told us how the Amish make do without such comforts as electricity, central heat or plumbing.
